Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Sooshie is operated by Our Children International Corp, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Revenue from Sooshie subscriptions directly supports our mission to provide vital services to children and communities in need. By using Sooshie, you're not just managing your social media — you're making an impact.

2. Data We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed via Supabase Auth). We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and scheduling activity to improve the service.

When you connect a social media account, we store the OAuth tokens required to act on your behalf and basic profile information (such as account ID, name, username, and profile picture). For posts you publish through Sooshie, we store the platform's post IDs and links, and, where the platform allows it, the comments and replies on those posts and their engagement metrics (such as views, likes, and shares). We store the posts, images, and videos you create or upload in Sooshie.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to operate Sooshie, including scheduling and publishing posts to the social media platforms you connect, showing comments and replies in your inbox so you can respond, showing analytics for your posts, processing payments through Stripe, sending transactional emails (e.g., password resets and billing receipts), and improving our product based on aggregated usage patterns.

Sooshie's AI features (such as caption suggestions, image and video generation, media analysis, and analytics summaries) send the content needed for that feature — for example your prompt, a media file, or your post metrics — to an AI model provider to produce the result. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data From Google and YouTube

If you connect a YouTube channel, Sooshie uses YouTube API Services to read your channel's ID, name, and thumbnail so we can show which channel is connected, and to upload the videos you schedule to that channel. Sooshie's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can disconnect YouTube in Sooshie at any time, which deletes the stored tokens, and you can revoke Sooshie's access from your Google security settings.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services necessary to operate Sooshie:

• Social media platforms you connect (Meta, Google/YouTube, and TikTok), to publish your posts and read their comments and metrics
• Vercel (application hosting and AI request routing)
• Supabase (database, file storage, and authentication)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• Resend (transactional email delivery)
• Sentry (error monitoring)
• Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google (AI model providers for the AI features described above)

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We may also disclose data when required by law, and we review any such request before responding.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. Disconnecting a social media account deletes its stored tokens and profile information. Deleting a workspace from its settings deletes its posts, media, and connected accounts. To request deletion of data we received from a social media platform, follow our data deletion instructions.

7. Cookies

Sooshie uses essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypting data in transit via TLS, hashing passwords, and storing OAuth tokens securely. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also disconnect social media accounts and delete your Sooshie account from your workspace settings.
